| Dispenses buckshot medication for all undead patients. | My new ride: ![]() Sorry for the low-quality. I made it home to my carport just minutes ahead of a storm. She's a 1994 Honda Magna 750cc V4. She's currently sporting her OEM seat, sissy bar (backrest) luggage rack, windscreen and customized pipe baffles. The pipes make her a little louder, but not the deafening thunder of straight pipes. The bike also came with a big square luggage that fits over the sissy bar and rests on the luggage rack. It's about the size of a carry-on roller bag. I also got a custom seat as part of the deal, but it's not on right now. In the next few days I plan to remove the windscreen. I will reinstall it for long rides, but for around town it just gets in the way and I don't like the look of it; also, it disrupts the airflow into my helmet vent so my visor fogs up. I will also install the custom seat to see if I like it any more than this one. Total price: $3000. Frankly, I think it's a steal. If anyone in the Bay Area is interested in my '82 Magna (also a 750cc V4 - and actually more nimble than my new bike), I have put a bunch of work into her over the last few months. I'm asking $1,700 but we can talk about a FinalGear discount - I'll knock a couple hundred off the price.

| Dispenses buckshot medication for all undead patients. | I don't really have a way to record sound clips. The pipes have a nice resonance, not too harsh like a straight pipe but not as whisper-quiet as factory. It's the perfect balance. When I was splitting on the way home I noticed cars heard me coming and gave me a bit of space. Only one dipshit "rollin' on dubs" tried to crowd me out. I think it's nice that they are not deafening - if you think straight pipes are annoying, try sitting on top of them for an hour. As soon as I get a nice sunny day I will take the bike over to the Marina and shoot some photos.

| Sounds like my first ever motorcycle ride when I finally got mine going. Nice looking bike and it sounds like you got a heck of a deal on it. I take it things with the yellow and black Magna didn't pan out? I'm so ready for good riding weather here. I even got my hair cut shorter in preparation of wearing a helmet all the time. ![]()

| Dispenses buckshot medication for all undead patients. | Yeah, the black and yellow didn't pan out. The guy said he needed to take it back to the shop because they screwed up the tuning. That was last week and I never heard back from him - even after I emailed him the other day asking for an update. The yellow bike was a good deal because it was such low miles, but I don't have the money to equip it with all the kit that this bike came with. There's probably $1,000 worth of extras on the one I bought.

| Sweet new ride! Now go build it into a bobber and be truly special. ![]() ![]() ![]() | |

| Dispenses buckshot medication for all undead patients. | While I like the Bobbers, I'm not sure I would have one. I much prefer the classic look of something like an Indian Chief or the Honda Shadow Aero.

You can get a dirtbike and convert, or you can just get a dualsport and forgo the conversion. I don't know how much it costs, though... But I remember there was something which kept me from going, something which somehow needed a lot of time and effort from a friend who knows how to ride and has a license. |

| Dispenses buckshot medication for all undead patients. | I was on my way back from looking at another Magna and I saw a bike on the side of the road for sale. Turns out it was a Sportster of about this vintage - the guy wanted $8,700 for it. YeahNO.
