My 1985 ZL Ford Fairlane..

It's big. It's Heavy. It's not 100%. It's my first car.. so it'll do

It was good weather so I decided to wash/polish the car and blacken the bumpers (they had faded grey over the years). I was hoping to get some good pictures but the shitty quality of my phone camera doesn't show any of my hard work.. lol

Its a straight six and runs completely on LPG, the petrol pump has broken and I am sure that the injectors and other things have seized up from the years of not using petrol. The electrics are stuffed.. front passenger window doesn't work, central locking doesn't work, car's trip computer randomly beeps when I press the brake pedal or when I put the indicator on. (Doesn't happen all the time though, weird huh?)

So far I've lowered the front suspension a bit so that it doesn't drive like a boat, I've replaced the old hole ridden exhaust with a 2.5" exhaust from the engine pipe which goes into a sports muffler which has given the car a nice note compared to how it was before and I have put some new speakers and a head unit in the car to replace the old ripped paper speakers.

I am not too sure if I want to put more money into the car because I may have a opportunity to get a new car within the next year but who knows.. Mods may come

Nah no random flashing instruments, just the beeping from the computer and the radiator light always seems to be on..

Yeah last week was a PAIN, every petrol station i went to in the western suburbs was out of gas!! Then when they restocked with gas all the big brands(BP, Caltex) had crazy prices for LPG. Luckily I didn't need my car much during that week and managed to hold out until Saturday.

From all I can tell, most petrol stations around me still don't have LPG.

Nah it doesn't have an LSD and its done around 220,000km's total.. I don't know how many km's I've put on the car since I first got it.

The damn computer is beeping more and more.. So i punched it.. Ended up beeping more and I have a bruised hand

Need to work out my car situation in the coming years.. If i have nothing in sight then i might put some money into this tank and fix up the little problems.
