This car is a work in progress...I bought it as a lightly modified street car, and, well, it's still pretty much just a lightly modded street car. My plans for it include autocrossing and eventually road racing when I feel like I'm ready for that. Unlike a lot of modified street cars though, this is my daily driver to school and work, and it travels more than 100 miles every day. Because of this, it has to stay comfortable enough that I don't hate driving it on the road. It isn't fast, but it pulls nicely enough for me and will pull 38 mpg when I'm really nice to it. It's true beauty is in the corners, the chassis is stiff and the suspension works beautifully. I've tried to either design and build the modifications myself, or buy only high quality aftermarket parts. Feel free to ask if you'd like to know any details on mods done to the car.
Enjoy the pics ![]() This is how it looked when I first got it...gotta love a car with wheels that weigh more than the rest of the car ![]() ![]() ![]() Here it is with a buddy's Prelude ![]() And attacking the Dragon (U.S. Highway 129) ![]() Aaaandd....how it looks now. The 17" wheels were switched to some 15" ones that are 12 lbs lighter apiece...that's a huge difference in rotating mass. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last one...my dog. Yup, it's completely unrelated ![]() ![]() Comments are welcome...

Nice, I like the slips, and the type-r spoiler. Real clean, I like to keep the outside simple and clean.
What mods do you have now? Any future plans? |

Nice looking car. Well done on getting rid of the mesh in the front air intake too.

I love the rotas! I'd love to put a set of wheels just like that on my car but they dont make any quite like that with my lug pattern, oh well.
Wheels like that look very cool because they look very racey, not flashy. I hate shiny wheels. I'd much prefer something that looked like it belonged on a race car. Something MEAN. ![]() (Those ARE rotas, right?)

Thanks for the replies everyone
![]() ianspeed- No, no videos of the Dragon unfortunately. I haven't autocrossed the car yet because I'm not satisfied with the suspension that's on it now. I can't wait to though... ![]() Kev- It's got intake, header, exhaust, high flow cat, pulleys, some random little stuff, a bunch of chassis bracing, some random coilovers that I'm working on replacing, upgraded brake pads and rotors and a master cylinder brace (oh my god I love my brakes...they're one of my favorite things about the car ) BFGoodrich tires 10mm wider than stock...I think that's about it. Oh, JVC MP3 player headunit and Infinity speakers. Derek- Yes, I love my dog ![]() Lurch- Thanks, yeah I hated that thing. It looked terrible. Starfox- I loved the way the 17's looked but the first time I let the clutch out with the 15's and the car actually moved without having to be forced to I was sold on them 24lbs to 12lbs on each corner is HUGE.JakeRadden- He's actually a black lab/golden retriever mix, but he looks like a yellow lab. He's a great dog. Devil- Thanks ![]() Infernal- Thanks, I appreciate it. yeah, they're Rotas. They're not the best wheels out there but I love how light they are and they're so inexpensive and common relatively that if one gets damaged in an off-track excursion or whatever I can just about go down to the grocery store and get another. ted- Thanks. Not really...I've got a few. To be honest I'm not a huge fan of the interior of the car...it's clean and functional but it's rather plain. Not a whole lot to take pics of. It's a black interior with grey leather, though. ![]() ![]() Another thing that's worth mentioning is that this motor has 160k miles on it...and this is the engine with the valve cover off. ![]() Sooooooo clean

Nice, that is super clean! I'm also working on switching the suspension on my Integra, but I'm going from Tanabe coilovers to Type-R springs.
I like the Type-R style amber gauge glow. Mine has around 152k miles on it, gotta love Honda engines! |
