Well, TopGear did give one Lada to the blokes at Lotus, and they worked their magic on it, and it came out stunning, definitely a car that would turn heads

Oh, nice work on your Lada, keep us updated

It is nice, tho I like the size of wheels/tires TG used on 'their' Lada, it fit the car just right, imo

This is so cool! I love stories about the underdogs...the unexpected performers. This car is a perfect example. Lightweight, RWD...two variables in a formula for excellence.

They just haven't fitted the door panels yet, if they are, they may not since it looks like a pure racer.

Nice workplan... I've seen a lot of those last weeks in Czech Republic and Hungary. And as someone mentioned before, the Lotus tuned one looked great. Use it as inspiration

Alright, here is some update.

First of all, the rear suspension:

I know its ridiculous

Here is a real life photo to:

The stabilisers are for blocking the rear bridge to move front and back, the panhard is for blocking the rear bridge to go right and left. Easy . Its vey primitive. And having only one panhard is . The MKII escorts have two:

Its much better, becouse when you put some wieght on the cars back, and there is only one panhard, the rear bridge will move in one direction, cos its traveling on a radius:

Okay, so i am renewing all the stabilizers. I have made the short ones so far. Painting, and new ... ruber parts (I dunno howits called in english, its called szilent in hungarian) , that are much harder then the stock one's are. It will make the car much better handeling.

So here they are:

In the middle is the tool that i used for putting in the "szilent"-s. It took me some time to figure out the tool to use, coz this ruber is realy hard. But hey, its done now

Alright, will update soon
