. My restored carbs arrived today, and huess what? images/smilies/smile.gif

. I bought another set to, with manifold(I dunno if its called like that, the blue thing on the carbs back images/smilies/smile.gif

) cos it was f*ckin cheap. So now i have 2 set of Dellorto DHLA 40-s images/smilies/biggrin.gif

. And the passanger seat is in to images/smilies/wink.gif

Just stumbled over that topic. Really agreat effort on the LADA, I think it will be at least as good as the one Lotus built, if not better. Great effort, keep it up images/smilies/thumbsup.gif

I have headgasket change coming.. And the only option is to bring it to mechanics. They'll change it, no doubt, but I'd like to see what's going on there. And be 100% sure about what was done.

^ Yeah... I hate to give any car into a mechanics hand... Our Citroen, when it goes the the service (every 50000 km-s you have to take it in), they always mess something up images/smilies/mad.gif

Update: The brakes SUCK.... They are cheap "made in hungary" brakes (dont take it wrong there are so many things that are good, but we just cant make good brakes..), and they are rubish... So monday, im gonna buy the expensive LPR's images/smilies/sad.gif

. I'm going in negativ with money now...

You guys might have noticed, that Im not online for a few days. Well, i was in the garden, when a lightning striked in the telephone post. Thankfully no injury happend to me, but my pc is dead, my parents pc is dead, our telephones are dead. Great news ay? I didnt have any time for my car. Today i had some time, and made my rims. They look cool images/smilies/wink.gif

. Well, if the insurance company doesnt pay, i wount have money for new pc images/smilies/sad.gif

. Im having fuckin bad days....

Any way for you to fit some proper disc brakes onto it? Seems like a lot of effort you're going through to end up settling for a near-stock setup for something like that.
