I don't see why you would remove the logo from a set of HRE's to begin with. It's not like they're Motegi's or some other cheap-o autoparts store special wheels...

| True, I bet everyone wants a CSL trunk at the very least right now. Sounds like a great plan btw. Since I have you ear, why the AA s/c over the Dinan version?

Talk to Dado or Darren over at DTMPower and they'll tell you about it. I spy chicken strips...j/k Really nice bike, how much did that set you back? I can see why it was stolen...just too nice to be sitting on the streets, and those Xena disc alarms are easily silenced with a chunk of styrofoam. After that, a couple strong guys and a van, and the bike is gone...at least, that's how it happens here in Vancouver.

I wouldn't mind some of the CSL stuff. The carbon fiber roof would be nice, but to really see much of a difference I'd have to ditch my sunroof. There's no way in hell that will happen, so there's not much point in getting the CF roof. I don't care for the CSL front bumper. You lose your foglights and it's asymmetrical. Both negatives for me. I'm kind of in the middle on the CSL trunk (boot lid for those across the pond). Since the M3 is my daily driver and doesn't regularly see high speeds, I don't see it doing much good for me. At the same time, though, it couldn't hurt. The CSL wheels... eh. I like the OEM 19"s more. I definitely wouldn't mind some of the CSL exhaust components.

I paid $9k for it used with about 14k on the clock, then sunk another $2k into parts. Insurance paid out $13.5k for it.

Italian bikes (and bikes in general) are quite a bit more expensive north of the border; a good friend sprung about $15K for his Aprilia RSV1000, with similar milage. I'll be getting my next ride somewhere stateside. Good to hear insurance more than covered it.

| Lexus? Oh shi- | What a great fucking design... so classic. The rear brake pads aren't red? |

The fronts are an aftermarket big brake kit from Stoptech. I believe it's their 355mm kit, but I haven't troubled myself with measuring them. I might upgrade the rears some day, but honestly it doesn't need them. If I do, it'll only be so they match the fronts.

| Lexus? Oh shi- | Yeah, I was wondering about the aesthetics. I think it'd look even better if all 4 had the reds. |

Car: ford Rep Power: 0 ![]() | hmm, atleast in those pics i think it looks a little too much lowered in the back, looks like u have a 1000 pounds or something in the boot, but thats just my opinion. Really great looking car otherwise! |

The side skirts, though, run pretty much parallel to the ground. It handles extremely well with the current setup, so I'm very hesitant to start messing with the ride height.
