once upon a time, there was a 8-year old who thought that everyone on the internet was dumb so while riding his big wheel around town he saw a lovely ~~little~~ big-ass dodge ram so obviously he decided to take pics of it and upload it as his own. it worked.

8-year olds have minds the size of a small pea so when riding around in daddy's car he saw a Aston martin V8 vantage so he took pics and posted them as his dad's

it worked until someone wanted more pics. after a ¨you wait, I'll get them game¨ our overlord quiky decided to give him a title that title ¨banned for being a lying asshat¨

Oh we're paranoid alright, but justifiably so. There's no doubt that those are nice Porsches, though. There must be a backstory to the racing ones?

well 1983 944 porsche 2.5ltr , so as stock it was crap but this car was built in nz to run the porsche bridgestone series which it won twice . i picked it up pretty stuffed but decide to do a project in lightweight build.

So l/w fibreglass doors,bonnet,guards ( front and back ) bumpers ( front and back ) carbon fibre roof , lexan windows and rear hatch . drilled out everything , remove everything that is not needed etc.....

ended up at 892kg , 52/48 weight balance , round of pukekohe raceway in 108.00

the car is a weekend car as is the others , i am an engineer by trade and on the road 5 days a week so practicality says use the ute .

I see no reason not to trust advtracing. Old 911s aren't exactly rare or expensive to buy. Maintenance is the real killer.

We are car lovers here and there nothing more disgucting than someone claiming to own a car they don't. And some if not most of us will never own a Ferrari Enzo afterall. images/smilies/tongue.gif

However it's allways nice to know there are users here that have nice cars and are enthusiastic about their cars enough to post them on a internetforum. There is a healthy amount of jealousy in the air whenever this happens.
