News to me.
Aside from the first one its too light for a black interior like that. This is personal opinion though I generally prefer black with no accents rather than a mix.

Get a working alternator from the scrap, should be cheaper than a new one or a new bearing. I guess you should find out after some googling from which VAG models you can use the alternator.....

And another hit to my wallet. I knew it was coming I was just hoping to delay it at least until the next paycheck (14th). Need a new clutch plate, 200 euro, 3 arm thingies in the front wishbone suspension, 150 euro, then 5 hours of labour, 100 euro, new oil seal for the gearbox, 30 euro... Roughly 450-500.

No, just things haven't become THAT expensive here in the Balkans. My local VW dealership/service where I do the maintenance on the Leon charges 10 euros an hour.

here its about 70-120€ / h main dealer service.. 55-65€ / h in bigger services and 45-55€ / h at private shops...

They had wishbones on the B5? I thought they were always quadlinks.
