They are far too quiet stock. Rip that airbox cover off!

Helluva car. Love it.

Driving a roadster in winter can be great fun, too.

A friend of mine has a new Miata with a place that reads "ROOFFTL". Needless to say his roof is almost always down, unless its raining heavily or the temperature is below freezing.

I often wish mine was a 2 seater because I never use the back seats
Then again my roof folds rather lumpily so idk I might have more trunk space.

Do you like the digital dash? i love that thing

Congratulations on your purchase.
two choices:

1) Buy cheaper sports car. Buy second car for daily driving with left over money. Pay extra tax, insurance, etc for the privilege of not driving the sports car all the time.

2) Buy a better sports car and drive it all the time.

Guess which I picked.

Haha, you'd be surprised. I've tried lots of brands (except for those uber expensive ones like Swissvax) and I trust this one the most. It doesn't have the brand name appeal, but the shine this leaves is awesome. It's very durable as well as it seems to protect for a long time. What do you use? I'll check it out.

I've read that the induction noise is definitely more pronounced without the cover, but the heat soak will reduce power. Most people who run without the cover end up putting it back on. Here's a vid I took a little while ago of the stock setup. I'll take another vid for comparison when I get an Invidia 70mm catback (maybe after winter).

Not to take anything away from this forum but for car detailing, http://www.autopia.org/ is your friend. Silver is a very forgiving color as it does a good job to hide blemishes or swirls in the paint. P21s, Collinite, S100, Megs #26, Natty's blue are some.
