| New update! Pictures of the new "garage" and lots of cool goodies from the junkyard. Went down to the junkyard friday because we heard lots of new camaros showed up, turns out we found lots of stuff, including a 1997 Z28 30th anniversary edition that we plundered for everything from its hood to its taillights. But first a shot of the new car fixing spot, where our unofficial "car club" (Really just a group of friends with basically the same car) is now hanging out. Big concrete area you can park 3 cars in, with a tool shed and tent for keeping tools and parts dry. ![]() Next a shot of my new taillights, which are of the later LS1 camaro style. ![]() I also managed to snag a set of nice leather seats (front and back) with matching leather door panels. ![]() ![]() Next a better shot then last time of the completed dash, i found the dash pad, which is that big plastic area from the front of the dash to the window. Usually its $150 at least for one, i just gave my friend some of those ugly red seats and door panels ![]() ![]() Finally a shot of my friend franks Z28, the fastest LT1 around (around about 400 horsepower, 11 inch wide tires and he still has trouble finding traction) Also the only other black camaro, mine will look something like this when its done. ![]()

Car: 92 Camaro Rep Power: 8 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | How much did those seats set you back? My seat is in sad, sad shape and I've always wanted some 4th gen seats for it! They're just better!

| I paid $120 for 4 seats (front and back), 2 door panels and a hood. So about $40 i'd say for just the front seats themselves. From a store those seats are $600 easy. For some reason there are weird white spots in the picture but its not ripped at all, these seats are SPOTLESS. There was also a supercharger mounted on an LT1 that i was 10 minutes too late to get (when i arrived someone had just started to remove it) damn!

I've got a Spec Clutches Stage 3 clutch for an LT1 T56.... it's a little worn out, but if you can figure out whether or not you can buy a new clutch disk and get the other parts reconditioned you've got a realy nice clutch. I'm not sure I want it (I dont even know how to drie a clutch, much less a hardcore racing clutch), would you be interested by any chance? It's a $500 clutch.

| Previously Known As JCE3000GT | I'm liking those 4th gen seats, thats a great find. I plan on nabbing me some good 4th gen interior pieces soon (mostly from a 1999+ TA). That's some "garage" area you have there. I love wide open flat concrete spots with plenty of space. Too bad our garage is full of MR2 stuff at the moment otherwise I'd be real close to tearing my car down. |

And what kind of clutch do you have now? The stock one? If the stock replacement one will work for your LT1 I'm sure I wouldnt have any problems with a stock replacement clutch on mine, so I may just save the fancy clutch for a rainy day.

Car: 82' Impala, 94' Z28 Rep Power: 17 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | those concrete garages are the best. i perfer concrete to asphalt. liek in my grandpas driveway. but thats full of cars and garbage waiting ot get worked on. and its in the bronx and its visible by anyone that walks down the street and i wouldnt trust my camaro being there in pieces... but im not going to do any mod work untilt he fall so ill have plenty of time to figure things out. if i were you guys id invest in a good set of ramps for the car. they work wonders.

| Sad update, a "friend" of mine (pictured in the first picture of first post on this page in red hat) decided it would be cool to steal about $900 in mods from my car, thinking i wouldnt notice, including my roller rockers and my B and M shifter. Breaking several hoses and my nice valve covers, which now need to be thrown away and replaced. Needless to say i noticed, and "shit" is "going down" in floridaland. I'm a saaaad panda.![]()

| I'm going to get the parts back and something close to $100 to replace the stuff broken, and if he refuses to pay (which i expect) i'll simply have a word with his father, who is one of those "drink and beat my degenerate son" types. He'll pay me i'm sure, and take it out of his son's ass ![]() (failing all of that, i go to the police)
