well i thought i better post some pics of my first modification images/smilies/tongue.gif nothing major just some visual bonnet stripes but i am looking at a retune so a add more BOOST!!!!! and a larger intercooler to try to get rid of the heat because the factory one is so tiny, also looking upgrading the brakes to JCW's for some added braking performance, it needs to get detailed ready for the 9th of march for minis at the bay. Enjoy

I agree the manual is nice but it would have meant this car wouldn't have been a daily driver, but there is nothing wrong with the auto still a great unit and only means I cant do burnouts.

I thought there was going to be a hell of a lot more cars than that!

I suppose it all makes sense. Small car, small gathering!

Don't get that? why does a manual transmition mean that the car can not be used as a daily driver? are u that lazy? or is it to much work to put ur foot down once in a while(not throttle) and move ur arm more than just left and right?

GREAT CAR THO! don't get me wrong! images/smilies/smile.gif

Would want to have it manual or auto(prefered manual images/smilies/lol.gif)

basically 2 major reasons, i have a damaged left knee so i can only sustain driving a manual for a small time, really unconfortable and secondly due to the first reason city driving hurts.

the auto gearbox is fantastic its a porsche developed box built by Asini 6 speed automatic with the same ratios as the manual making it .1 of a second slower the the manual and quicker down the quatermile. this is also helped with 3 additional modes

D - for economy usual auto
DS - its the sports mode firm up the gearbox and ferosity of the changes
Manual - uses the paddles and gives full control allowing to hold gears and take control of the gearbox

also due to electronic throttle and the sport settings the car becomes very aggressive

the dealer took me for a spin in the manual and then the auto and back to the manual, the sporty feel is still there.
and DSEMAJ i was car 26 and i reckon about 30-40 attended before i left

Nice, how come they're silver/black, you get to choose the color combination?

I don't think we get the Euro style plates in SA. Which is a shame, I think they look great.
