after i took care of the rust and prevent it from coming back i removed some of the very old damping mats.
you maybe think why, well i ordered 30 new mats that i will use, so bye bye old mats and welcome new mats images/smilies/smile.gif
i only need to put the new mats on the car, but that something after i got the car imported images/smilies/wink.gif and ministry of transport tested. ( I hope thats the correct english term images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)

the whole car is now treated with sandpaper and i must say it's smoooooth images/smilies/smile.gif so ready for paint images/smilies/cool.gif
but before we will paint the car, we used some sort of anti rick chip spray on the lower parts of the car. (i hope you guys know what i mean, and if you dont i try to explain it better images/smilies/wink.gif)

You've got my respect.

I had Mk1 Rabbit 4-door back in 1985. It was an unreliable pile when it was only 8 years old, and seeing you transform your Jetta like this is impressive.
