This is for sale near me:

If it was a coupe, the price would be incredibly high, but apparently you can get a '56 sedan for around $18,000

Lots of poor-quality screenshots from the last few weeks:

Possible @thevictor390 sighting today on the Pike??

Why do people pick the out-out-out line?? I see this a lot and it's as if they don't realize that there's a turn and right as they're about to go off the road they swerve in.

My biggest pet peeve - left lane hogs.:mad::mad:

Another pet peeve - people who pull out into the intersection and stop. The light turned green just seconds after this screenshot.

Why do troopers sometimes sit on the highway during rush hour? No one can even go 20mph, let alone over 55mph. What a waste of taxpayer dollars.

I'm guessing the trooper is waiting for someone to treat the shoulder like an express lane.

That one was definitely a tester. I don't think VW has plans to offer it here.

Would be awesome in GTI spec.

So a rally is being held in Zagreb this weekend, and today there's been a presentation of rally teams and opening of the rally. There weren't too many cars, and they were mostly the standard stuff you'd find on rallies in Croatia, so stuff like group N Peugeot 106's, Renault Clios of various vintages, some Opel Adam R2's, and I think two Toyota GT-86's. There were other cars as well, like Yugos and even a Fiat 126p, but the ones I could take decent pictures of and that I found fairly interesting are these two:

And this one:

Which despite sporting a similar livery is quite different than the Austrian duo. Here's a hint why:

Something not all that unusual for you out-of-the-States folks, but very interesting here...
A little over a year ago, my friend Justin imported a Nissan Carry mini-truck from Japan. He's had so much fun with it that he decided to import a Suzuki Cappuccino. He brought it to our SCCA meeting last night. The white wheels are just temporary - he has a nice set of alloys waiting for some new tires. The tires that were on the car when he received it were dry rotted to the point where he was afraid to drive it!

Thanks for thinking of me! Since my wife passed away in January, my life has been filled with meetings... lawyers, financial types and those taking care of all the bits and pieces that follow someone's death. I also took over for her as treasurer of her church and an associated pre-school, which is nearly a full-time job in itself. Things are settling down a bit, so I'm hoping to get back into some of my automotive activities. I haven't had much time to spend on the internet and have especially missed the interactions of this forum.

The paperwork to prove someone has died is a monotonous process, to say the least. My Dad died 6 years ago, the last piece should be taken care of in a few weeks. This is not due to inattention, but to the shifting requirements of a company and country involved.

By the way, I noticed you post not long ago, but I am still glad to see you making more regular posts.

Press event?

That's a lot of midsize trucks and several copies of each. It makes me wonder if one of those brands (probably Jeep) is throwing a comparison experience.

Looks like it, didn't stop to ask.

Nice Z32 TT. Talked with the owner at the next light, he was taking it to get a wash before selling it. He said he knows he'll regret it, but is getting a C63 since he needs backseats.

Is the suspension fucked on that Z4 or is it just full of Americans?
