Rep Power: 0 ![]() | The work that is done on these videos is fantastic! I am so very happy to be able to get them at all. I feel quite guilty, in fact, for opening my mouth. However, when I am watching a few of my videos in full screen mode or making my own DVD's of the shows, it is somewhat dissapointing that the "wide screen" black areas at the top of the screen don't form a straight edge with the actual video. The bottom black area does form a straight edge, but it looks like there is an extra line that only goes across about 2/3 of the way across the top. This occurs on 5th Gear episodes for May 10th, 2004 and May 17th, 2004. This also shows up on the "Jeremy Clarkson's Shootout 2003" CD's 1 and 2, however I didn't get these from the Viper007 site so I don't know if you had anything to do with those videos. If this could somehow be corrected, it would make for absolute perfection with these videos. Don't get me wrong, I love the videos and am very thankful for all the hard work put in by everyone involved in getting these videos out to people like me. It's just this one minor thing that sorta bugs me. I thank you for reading my e-mail and apologize in advance to anyone I may have upset. |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | When i capture from my DVB card it produces this effect too, If it is burned to dvd your tv's overscan means you never see it. to crop it off would damage the aspect even if it is by one pixel. In most cases you would have to crop 16 pixels to maintain compatability and would be too much infomation lost for the purpose of a straight edge. |
