Not A Dude

Ok, I'm a total torrenting N00B. I've pretty much learned how to download torrents using ABC, but I'm tired of feeling like a freeloading git and I want to learn how to seed torrents. The files I download seem to seed themselves after they've finished downloading, but I occasionally like to clear out my queue and that stops the seeding. How do I manually seed things? I am a reasonably intelligent person, but learning how to do this has alluded me thusfar, so as easy an explanation as possible is greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!

Just load a torrent for which you have the data (in the right place). It should automatically pick up the data, validate it and start seeding.

Yup, IDK if it's any different in ABC but for uTorrent you just double click on the downloaded torrent file (or redownload it), then point the "download" location to where the files are stored. Then instead of downloading, it will verify the files that you have and start seeding.
