Rep Power: 0  |  Resizing AVI files Hi There, i was wondering how i might be able to resize a 700MB video file down to 350MB. reason being is that i downloaded the 700MB rip of top gear off a torrent as i love top gear and wanted it ASAP as VUKs rip wasnt comming out for another few days but i like to have my top gear videos all the same at 350MB and to also save on space so i was wondering is it possible to convert a 700MB rip down to a 350BM rip. Thanks. |

Rep Power: 0 | you will need software that can encode video to a chosen codec. Easy one for people is AVS video converter. *Select the file, choose the codec and click configure. *Select xvid and resize to 512x288 *Set single pass at (profile advanced simple @ L3) or 750kps and you should get close to the 350mb size. you will need the codec installed aswell to enable encoding in xvid. If you need more assistance let me know and i'll post some screen shots of these steps.  |
