Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Sincere apologies if this is in the wrong place, or too much of a stupid question. I've got a problem with downloading episodes when I'm connected to my Belkin router. I can only download them when hooked straight into my cable modem. So, I'm trying to follow the instructions at portforward.com to set up my router but apparently I need to do some stuff in bittorrent first. The problem is the instructions given for bittorrent (here) are for the windows version, and I'm on a mac, obviously using the mac version. And it's different. Totally different. There's no view --> settings, there's no network tab - the closest I've managed to find is something called Global in the preferences, where there's an option to put the TCP port in. (it's currently set at 6881). Is this correct? I really haven't got a clue what I'm doing here - has anyone else managed to set this up for a mac that can tell me in idiot-proof terms what I need to do here? The Belkin router interface I'm fine with, I think I can handle that, but the bittorrent stuff, I'm stumped on. L'il help? |
