Question Series 2 Ep 1 problem

I'm encountering a problem with the first ep of series 2 (James May's return to TG). It freezes during playback, then shuts down. Windows help says it's a problem with Xvid, and I should install an updated version. So I re-installed the Xvid codec, but it hasn't helped. Has anyone else encountered this problem with this particular episode
(2003.05.01)?

Default

What program are you using for playback?
I suggest using VLC ( www.videolan.org/vlc/ ) which plays everything for me.
