find out how fast your client uploads at average, lets say 30 KB/s. Then you should set your upload speed to 26-28 KB/s to allow overhead traffic to arrive in time. BTW: can you use Azureus and check if the same problem occurs with that client? BTW2: what's your IP? (i only need to know the 3 first parts like 195.240.73.x) this way i can probabely check if my client can connect to yours.

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | ISPs have found a way to slow BT down. The technology is called traffic mapping. |

to avoid that, try non-standard ports. ports that you should try first: port 80. If your ISP doesnt block it, this should get you definately the highest speed. if that doesnt work, try port 8080. and as a last shot, try anything between 5000 and 65000. and ofcourse you should always use port-forwarding if you have a router and/or open that in your firewall.
