... I ask Herb Helbig, vehicle synthesis manager for SRT and a member of the original Team Viper development group since day one, if they'd ever thought of adding traction control. "It comes with two," he says, pointing at my feet. "Learn to use them." Got it.

Just wanna point out that you can also do it with bitcomet. It has worked like a charm for a couple of months now images/smilies/wink.gif

I'll tell ya what, if you are in a university, and you are on the university's internet... not off campus, you really don't want to be downloading.... Especially if you go to Ball State images/smilies/biggrin.gif .... Named most wireless campus in the nation.... images/smilies/sad.gif ... cause they are watching you. Trust me, one of my best friends just about got kicked out of the university a few weeks ago.. He's a big star wars and torrent fan. And mr. george lucas got word and decided to sue the university. He uses bitcommet.... ahem (don't use bitcommet-stay in school). Use azureus. Azureus doesn't pass its data through clear. Which means you are less likely to get busted.

If you don't believe, fine. I mean I don't know anything as a Cisco Systems certified major anyway......

My honest opinion would be don't download at school. If you MUST, use Azureus. I don't like saying I told ya so....

Best wishes...

Eh, BitComet on the VoIP port and encryption is my method of getting around my ISP ban of the BT ports.

yeah you can route it through a different port thats easy. but bitcommet still passes it through as just clear data, which by any means is clearly detectable. no pun intended. Use azeurouzyxous.....

Yeah, use Azureus, enable encryption, don't allow allow any fallbacks to unencrypted, and use a non-standard port. If you do that, there's no way to tell it's actually BT being used.

See level 5, it's what you want if you're paranoid: http://azureus.aelitis.com/wiki/inde...ping#fn_3_back

Yes, good advice. The uni I went to is really cracking down too. My brother is a student there now and he said a kid just got in a lot of trouble. I don't know all the details, but it was BT related. But I'm sure it varies from school to school. I used to bring my laptop to the public library here in my local town and would download all kinds of torrents, and they never said anything to me about it.
