Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I have a 17' sony lcd monitor and while using WMP10 i never get the whole screen covered in full screen mode. There's always one inch thick black outlines. On my Dell laptop i get the whole screen covered...any ideas? |

| old porsches do run! | Yes. Stop using horrible WMP. Get something like Media Player Classic, and forget about Real, QuickTime, WMP. It looks like WMP 6.5, but much more versatile. And you can pan/zoom with it by pressing keys on numpad. Highly recomended http://sourceforge.net/projects/guliverkli/ And your question about WMP... I've no idea ![]() |

| well on WMP, you cannot change the aspect ratio. Probably your laptops screen is another aspect ration as your lcd monitor. Maybe its widescreen and the lcd is not. You can also try the very good BSPlayer, it has more functions than Media Player Classic, that is more a very basic application, but also very good. http://www.bsplayer.org | |

| old porsches do run! | Yes, but if he means that black borders are all around the picture, he needs zooming, that doesn't change aspect ratio. BSPlayer is good (i think it can zoom too), but there're too much functions I don't need. MPC is light and fast, that's why I like it. |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Thanks MXM and Jsnked for you feedback...The thing i was looking for was the "Touch window from outside" option which apparently WMP doesnt have(sure?)...But i guess there was a intsy bitsy amount of quality loss with media player classic but its all good |
