Default Can anyone identify this car?

Can anyone identify the make and model of this car. My knowledge of american market cars is pretty sparse, and I can't seem to match it up to anything on the internet. I am pretty sure from the grille that it is a pontiac, but the face is too shallow to match up to any of their current saloon range.

We need help resolving a family argument images/smilies/biggrin.gif

Any ideas?

Dodge Stratus. I do not know if it was any good (although lots of people will swear that it is trash). I only know that the first generation shared components with Mitsubishi, that made it a nice handling sedan compared to what was around in 1995.

Dodge Stratus = Plymouth Breeze = Chrysler [don't remember]. The Avenger also had the same underpinnings.

That was only on the last model. The model pictured was only paired with the Chrysler Seabring.

I can say, without a doubt, that it is the worst car I've owned...and I've had a couple doosies, including a 1987 Oldsmobile.

I drove a 2002 for 5 years. I am happier without a car (for the time being) than I was with it. The only thing it had going for it, was that the front face looked alright. Other than that? Low power, shitty milage, horribly borring and cheap interior, noisey, poor equipment, and people were just drawn to crash into it while parked. The transmission shifts were unpredictable and abrupt, and it lacked many of the "make-sense" features that my previous 1996 vehicle had. I swear I had to change a light bulb every 3 months. Indicative of a poor electrical system, I'd guess. The way the back seats folded down wasn't very useful, or well thought-out, the steering and ride was numb, it had a worse turning radius than my previous SUV. The cupholders were too shallow, and it needed a rebuilt transmission after about 62,000 miles.

*shudders* I have nightmare when I think about it.

I take the train and bus/walk to work every day now, and I am happier than when I had to drive that thing.

The pre-2000 models were "cloud cars"(cirrus, breeze, stratus, sebring convert, and possibly one other). And had no ties to the avenger. The sebring hardtop and avenger, were closely tied to the eclipse and galant.
The stratus is pretty lame, but the R/T version was better.
