Default Worth the $13,000?

First some background information, my dad has a 2006 330xi with 35,000k on the clock. He has been having problems with the electrics since about 10,000k, BMW has dealt with these problems without hesitation. Now the delaership told him it they can fix it for good but the car will be gone for a month, or they are offering him a 335xi brand new (like 200k on the clock) in exchange for his car plus the 13 grand.
I found a 06 330xi locally with about the same kilometers selling for 35 and the 335xi new lists for 62 so to me it seems like quite a deal what's your take on it?

So did I, lol.
Damn Canadians.

With that said, I can't form an opinion either way.
That doesn't happen often.
I'd likely make a decision based on interior trim, lol.

Do it.

335xi is a great car. And haggle a bit on the $13K as well, you might be able to get the price down ever more.

But to be honest, just for that uber TT engine, $13K is worth every single penny.

Depends on the extras...
If the car is the same apart from the engine, then it's not worth the price for my taste...If it has a lot more fiddely stuff, it might be worth it, but that's a question of taste...

I'd say, take the 335 as long as they need to keep the 330, and if you and/or you dad like(s) it, buy the 335 afterwards... images/smilies/smile.gif
