    2020 Corvette C8 Unveiled

I can't think of a better word for taking the traditional Corvette and replacing it with a mid-engined sports car... the old Corvette is gone and this is a new car in almost every way. Like knocking down an old building for something new - the new building might be better but you still had to...

    2020 Corvette C8 Unveiled

Mid-engine /= Corvette. By all means invent a new model but why destroy one of the last few fast American muscle cars?

    The "New Toys" Thread

Prime day is dangerous. Got this with the 'adventure kit', that I will likely sell, for a decent discount. To be used alongside (but realistically instead of) my Hero 5 Black. First impression: The touch screen is much better. Then got a heavy discount on this after almost buying a more...

    Stripped porsche?

I remember that now, with its funny umbrella roof that looks like a tramp's hat. Good call, I know I was thinking of cars that they made themselves.

Ownership Verified: One for the other foot? A French Impostor? - 2005 Smart Roadster Coupé

Got myself a new Quechua tent for the roadtrip and Ringmeet, specifically so that it fits in the back of the Roadie. This is the two man tent so is only 66cm in diameter when packed instead of the 77cm of the previous one and it makes all the difference! You may remember, the old tent hangs...

Ringmeet 2019 - Taking in US refugees!

I’m concerned, with all this action planned it sounds like we’ll struggle for time to stand around doing nothing!

The Funny Maths Thread.. which sometimes contains mildly amusing pictures

Indeed, Cocking is perfectly placed. I've started making my own map with lots of other places, if you go from Shitterstone to Crapstone then you can make the thing a John o'Groats to Land's End tour. Feltwell also falls nicely in the Norfolk section. I think we should do this, we need another...

The Funny Maths Thread.. which sometimes contains mildly amusing pictures

I’d be up for that, while in Norfolk you could also take a detour to Docking if you so wished... Edit: Suffolk has Wangford near the coast for a proper detour. :D

Excellent, just wanted to make sure it hadn't gone walkies. :D

I don't usually like flavoured ciders but those look more interesting, may have to grab some and try them. Thomas, have you not received my payment yet? I sent it last week.

Other Random Car Sightings [Photo Required]

Someone brought along a Volvo 544 this morning, totally forgot to take a photo. The P1800 is probably prettier though.

Other Random Car Sightings [Photo Required]

My town centre was closed today for a classic car show, some really interesting stuff turned up. Survivor Saab 99, in white with fascinating headlight wiper mechanism. Nice Golf GTIs. Vindicator V4 - badly framed. Has Volvo S40 tail lights. Enough lights? Even the wing has some. Nice...

    Random Thoughts... [Automotive Edition]

It should go back there to be shot. Someone must’ve really hated the engine housing in a normal RV to come up with that idea.

    Random Thoughts... [Automotive Edition]

What a majestic beast that is. Looks like it was originally designed to be a mobile space command centre, then modified to be an RV.

    Random Thoughts... [Automotive Edition]

4 l/100km. I was confused at first, I have a 4 litre car in a very different way. :D Speaking of which, I'm really itching to get this centre exhaust pipe changed for some rumble. Edit: Damn I took too long watching videos of V8s.

    The "New Toys" Thread

Browns are my current choice, that's a damn good price though for any mechanical keyboard. I'm on the fence about O-rings, I have some and have used them but I just can't decide if I like them or not. Ooh, I've been very tempted to upgrade while still keeping my Hero 5.

Much easier to see at night and with the brightness cranked up. Unfortunately I found out that the MPG figure is a live counter only and doesn't do average. Meh.
