Something Viper007Bond would be wise to keep in mind

You're awesome. Seriously, I've been relying on this site basically since it opened, and if I haven't bothered to say it before - hey, even if I have! - thank you. There are a lot of people in the world who bring grief to everyone they touch, who just increase entropy everywhere they...

If a lot of that wasn't staged, then it was kind of dickish.

James May: Work sets you free.

Re: James May: Work sets you free. I'm so tempted to point out that "Arbeit macht frei" didn't start out as a slogan above the entrance to Auschwitz [and Dachau and Sachsenhausen, and a few others], but started as a title for a book in the late 19th century, and May's statement could as easily...

17:33 - 17:48 - Chemical Brothers - Piku Which just happens to be the [commercially available] song which produces the highest level of bass from the stupid bandpass box that came in my BMW, installed by some wanker who didn't think 12 inchers in a ported box were a good idea, and instead went...

This would be directly after Clarkson says, "But we don't buy their pickup trucks. Why is that?" Correct? What version of Optimistic would that be?

1:05 - 1:40 - DJ Shadow - Building Steam With a Grain of Salt I know the song right after that, too, but I just can't place it. I actually think it might be Richard Gibbs, from the Battlestar Galactica soundtrack, but I'm not certain.

    Top Gear test track

Well, she's quite pretty. Certainly not quite good enough for someone like me, but pretty enough. ... :D

    Top Gear test track

I've been waiting for that. Hell, I'd have done it myself...you know, if I knew how. :D I suppose this means I'll have to, er, buy GTR. Leppy, two - totally and unforgiveably off-topic - things for you: 1) Best. Avatar. Ever. I actually told my mother about that scene. She, of course, had no...

/That's/ it. I was thinking of his horrible butchering of Veyron. Not that he does "Tuareg" or "Paradua" very well, either, but that's semi-intentional. ;)

So far as I can tell, Jeremy's not actually particularly good at pronouncing a lot of foreign [to him] names, and he certainly can't spell whatsoever. I'm trying - but failing - to think of the other really noticeable time he's pronounced a car's brand completely wrong, over and over [and I'm...

Not that you're biased or anything. I'm not sure what you mean by "run the car for 2 laps at least." To my knowledge, every car is run multiple laps so The Stig can familiarize himself with the car, and then the fastest lap is shown, just as is done with Star in a Reasonably Priced Car.

    Drive the Top Gear Track!

I'd pay to drive on the TG track, although I'd like to have a somewhat different selection of cars. [Not to say those cars aren't enjoyable, but there are simply other cars I believe I'd enjoy more.] I'd certainly like to do it in the Liana, just to see how I compare. Frankly, if I could beat...
