Hey folks, I’m still here. The V-Strom too. Here’s a pic of me navigating it fully loaded down a very wet and slick Dragon last month.

I'd love to take one for a ride. Seems like more sophisticated HD Road Glide.

Hey everyone I'm back! Been a busy winter at work. Took the old girl out yesterday for her first run of the year. Got 10 miles down the road and the clutch cable snapped. Coulda limped the thing back but decided to be safe and call my roadside assistance company. BIG MISTAKE! Took them 3 and a...

How are those for 2-up? I'm asking because I thought my V-Strom would be ideal for 2-up, its got the ergos but it's kinda underpowered for pillions. Then again I'm not exactly a featherweight.

A V7 is definitely on my moto-bucket-list. If I weren't looking at buying a house within the next year or three I'd seriously consider snagging a used one. Meanwhile my V-Strom has this lovely little problem with the starter switch jamming, causing the headlights work intermittently. <_<

This. I own two VERY different types of motorcycles. Both have their strengths and weaknesses. Both have their uses, but either one can put a smile on my face. And isn't that what riding a bike is about?

Took my old beater out the other day. Found a nice lookout and caught the sunset. It's the little things in life.

So I decided to give my bike the "bagger" treatment, but on a shoestring. I found some cheap Chinese universal plastic hardbags on ebay. White in color, they kinda match the bikes cream paint job. Then, using some EZ-Brackets, I was able to get'em on the bike. Really neat product allows me...

So my prints from my Mt. Washington ride a coupla weeks ago came in. And before anyone comments on MY lousy body position, I should note that I was traveling at a blistering 10mph up the road when the photo was taken.

I think Sena (The headset company) has a combo bluetooth/helmet-cam system. I'd totally spring for one if I didn't have both a camera and a bluetooth already. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ELH7Lot-Kt0 In other news, despite the slight increase in New England hog traffic (Thanks to Laconia)...

You also need to now grow a grey beard, and cover the VFR's Saddlebags with about a dozen or so faded stickers.

Might have to do a trip next summer.... I did some more work on the bike last night. Mounted a new front tire, a centerstand, some givi crashbars, and a CalSci windscreen. It's almost to where I want it to be. Took it up for a ride today to get some barbeque. Bike did great! I am not...
