I went to one of the football bars that was showing last night's US game (gaasc, your football federation is a cesspool of assholes for selling the rights to some greedy motherfucker who only broadcast the game in 300 places in the US in english, I bought the soccer pack on cable to see games like this) and since it ended up filling up about an hour before the game started, I ended up watching the game through the windows of the bar with about 35 other fans in 30-ish degree weather (0C) and although it was really cold and shitty outside, we ended up having a great time. We all sort of bonded, someone went to the liquor store around the corner and bought some beer and jack and the cheers outside the bar were at least as loud as those inside. And then the owner gave us drink tickets for a free round. Which we all followed by a few more. A good night all around.
