I have the VX Nano her at work and I love it, it really makes me want the Revolution for home but I can't afford it. Besides, Ubuntu doesn't want me to have more than three buttons anyway.

Nope. I've been all over the internet finding and trying painfully complicated workarounds that people found, but those things never work for everyone, and I always seem to be one of the unlucky few.

Hi, IceBone.
I have the same problem with my MX Rev - it sends double click instead of single 50% of time. It's !@#$%^ annoying. It's killing me.
Have you found any way to fix that?

No, but it fell under warranty so Logitech sent me a new one.

That was the problem with my first Revo too. The contacts on the mouse oxidated (the bronze plating chipped away). I ended up putting some aluminium foil between the mouse and charger to charge it properly. The new one works ok.

Aren't Microsoft's mice made by Logitech, or am I thinking of the old Dell mouse?

Yes, old Dell mice. Also, the only good thing Microsoft did lately was 7.

My Logitech MX518 Optical still works just fine after 3-4 years of heavy use images/smilies/cool.gif

I have not yet tried the revolution but my mouse is BY FAR the best mouse I have tried (:

Edit: I have just noticed how nasty my mouse is images/smilies/lol.gif
4 years of dirt in all the cracks images/smilies/lol.gif

yea! MX518 is awesome! I'm using it on my work.
on my second work I'm using MX510, it isn't less cool then the new model.

That is the 2nd best keyboard I've ever used, the best being the IBM Model M.
