Car: '07 Honda S2000 Rep Power: 23 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | thanks!, I'm using Cannon 300D Digital Rebel with stock lens, didnt put much attention into those photos, or else the camera will capture STUNNING images, originally had plans to upgrade to different lens but after a while I realized how good the stock lens is, and man I just LOVE this camera (another hobby of mine) HD555 are awsome cans, should really look into an external amp, Sennheisers really do shine with extra power. I highly suggest looking into DIY amps, for the price you pay to build one is definitly worth it, PIMETA (see my previous post) or for even less money, CMOY also does the job extremly well, and very easy to build plus the endless combination of parts you can pretty much built one that will match your headphone and music style

| I've found that Sennheisers really do need the extra help, My iPod just dosent have the power to deliver the sound listening to them through an amp does. so I will be looking into a PIMETA, after I finish dumping all of my money into my car...

| Wow, I thought I was into headphones, but I don't spend that much on them. I wish I has a set of senheisers, but those wooden ones are awesome. NICE

| I have a pair of Beyerdynamic DT531's that I've had for about... 4 years now. Very happy with them, all though I'm looking forward to being able to upgrade them when I get a decent job soon. ![]() | |

I am willing to pay around €50 / $60 for them. They will mostly be hooked directly to the computer, and ones in a while I'll use them with a portable cd/mp3 player. So they can't be to big and bulky. So far I've found these, would really appreciate your input. Sennheiser PX100, Sennheiser PX200, Sennheiser HD 212, Sony MDR-V 300, Sony MDR-XD 300, Sennheiser HD 201. |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | If you want something a little more discreet, you could go with shure's entry-level e2c earphones. I've had them before and they're good value for money and should be comfortable for about 95% of people. They block out sound pretty well and sound warm to boot. |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Ok im having a bit of a dilemma, i really want to get new headphones from my parents for my birthday in two weeks, now, which ones!? i dont wanna go for cheap shoddy ones anymore because im really bored of them and love listening to music with decent quality, and im moving to Uni next year so I want something nice to use when i go. Its really a choice between Bose and Sennheiser I think, ive been looking at the HD-555 because they look gorgeous and are cheap in comparison, but havent got personal experience with the quality etc. The Bose Quiet Comfort 2's with Noise Cancelling I have used and was just blown away by them, but its over $100 US more that the sennheisers, which I can afford but wont spend if i can get the same for less. So my audiophile friends, any suggestions? |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | i have Shure E4c in-ear headphones with my 20GB iPod. They sound pretty good, although the iPod lacks a good bass in the default equalizer-setting. And with the bass-boost on, i can hear some distortion in some songs. But the in-earness is a bit tricky, though it sounds way better than usual earphones, and they are great to use when you have to travel by bus or train. Shure E4c: ![]()

| I've got a pair of Sennheiser HD-570s (the store didn't carry the 555s at the time) and I'm very happy with them. I usually bought Sony headphones but the Sennheisers' blew them out of the water. I did hook it up to an amp once and the sound just got more purified. Totally awesome. I'm glad that this will be my only pair of Sennheisers' for a while.

| I (can only speak for myself) love music. Quality matters to me. Can't have no hissing, sparking, etc. Speaking of which my car speakers are rattling. Annoys the hell out of me.

Car: RX-7, Jeep Cherokee Rep Power: 0 ![]() | hisses and pops are from bad media. analog has far superior quality, no compression. |

Car: RX-7, Jeep Cherokee Rep Power: 0 ![]() | indeed you are correct. it's also even harder to find good reel to reel these days. analog is a very expensive hobby. i'm sure you still get stellar sound from setups like that. |
