Rep Power: 0   | oDC is rather dated now and is just one client that uses direct connect. The idea is that there are some servers or hubs as they are called that people connects to. When you search you searches everything that the other users at that particular server or servers are sharing. It's rather big in sweden where many ppl has fast internet connection and there are hubs for ppl with special interests and/or connectiontypes. It's rather nice to be in a hub where everyone has fast connection... DC++ is the facto standard but I would recommend fulDC which is a modification with more configuration possible... oDC that you got is an old modification of DC++ but it hasn't been updated in over a year and there has come some nice features since then... |

Rep Power: 0 | The latest version is from 9th januari 2004, it was dated then too... I posted to advertise for DC mostly, there should be good motorsport hubs out there but I havn't found them yet... |
