However, the 8ms response time is, well, kinda bogus. They used a gray to gray scale and not black to white. Plus it's an LCD.Here's a DLP http://www.ultimateavmag.com/rearprojectiontvs/206mits/ bit more at $3900 retail. Also here's a few http://www.dlp.com/home_entertainmen...rch.asp?bhcp=1 As for the best, it is all in the eye of the buyer. ![]() | |

| Global Moderator | It's not DLP, but it's just as good (and cheaper) Panasonic PT-AE900U It's an LCD projector, with a great contrast ratio and light output. I have the 700 model, which has a lower contrast ratio, but regardless still looks awesome. I think the 900 retails for $1999 USD, and since it's a projector is as big (or small) as you want. One small issue with a projector is that if you use it a LOT, you will have to replace the bulb after a year or two. I've had mine for just about a year now, and am about 1/3 of the way through my first bulb, soo your mileage may vary. But after seeing what can be done with a $2000 projector, the $3000 LCD/DLP TVs don't look like such a good deal (even factoring in bulb cost over time).
