Default Buying a new 'Old' iphone today

I don't think I'll be able to get the iphone 3G so I think I may get the 'old' iphone. Can I buy a new one in the UK or Ireland?

No. AFAIK it's sold out everywhere.

Also, you could've asked this in one of the many thread you already made on the subject.

Your best bet is probably to go on eBay. I personally wouldn't get the iPhone, but I would probably have to to go with the cheaper and older 2G iPhone. I had a go with the new 3G iPhone this Friday and to be honest, I was really unimpressed. For the most part, it seemed to be exactly the same as the old one (with the addition of GPS and 3G of course). When you explore the maps of the GPS too quickly, it causes the damn thing to freeze and you have to reboot it. The price isn't too bad though at $199, but you need to sign a 3 year contract with the cheapest monthly plan at $60.

I've found a used one on eBay for 169 quid (as of now). It's not exactly a bargain, but if its what you want, it's worth the price.

Old iPhones are selling for the same as the new ones with Prepaid card, unless you really like the the brushed aluminium I would go for the new one.
