| Basically Vista doesnt come with the futura fonts , and when I had XP I used these fonts for my (ambitious!) web design ideas. So can someone with XP upload their futura fonts (all of them, I think there's about 4 or 5) to a hosting website so I can nick them? Many Thanks P.S. Ive tried looking for them online, but all of the free font places arent actually free! ![]() | |

| Im pretty sure the fonts called Futura, and theres variations of them like: heavy, medium and light. Im pretty sure they come with XP, coz when I was at work they set up new HP's (without office on them) and I 'nicked' them from there before, but Ive formatted my PC since then and I forgot to save them ![]() | |

| Why would it? It all depends on the design, as long as it suits the style who cares where else the font is used. You can make great designs with any type of font. | |

| Plus your computer (im guessing!) doesnt need the font to view it online. | |

Rep Power: 8 ![]() ![]() ![]() | i think he meant, that web-pages which use that font can only be displayed correctly on machines with that font installed (so only win-xp-machines, which have that font installed) but you can't just use fonts in texts. It can be used in graphics as well... and then it doesn't matter, whether you have the font installed or not. btw. i have winxp pro with ms-office 2003 and haven't got the font... edit: i'm sooooo sloow ![]() |

| .sa = bad driver! | That's what I meant. I thought you were going to use the font for the site's text, which would mess up the formatting for anyone who didn't have the font installed. I didn't stop to think that you could have been planning to use it for images.
