| I want to be able to get to the irc from work but it won't let me connect to anything. Is there a way to get chatzilla, or any irc client, to use a proxy server to let me get around it?

| .sa = bad driver! | Have you tried the java-based IRC client we have here? Still, if your work blocks IRC, maybe they don't want you IRCing at work...

You'd need to use an AJAX or CGI:IRC client. Mibbit is good, but it doesn't have our IRC network on it's list.

Car: Porsche 944 Turbo Rep Power: 3 ![]() ![]() | Your best bet is probably a remote desktop www.logmein.com has a free one, you can use your home system. Or try www.cosmopod.com it's a free linux remote desktop, with x-chat so you can get on irc that way. I used to have a program called U86.exe; not even sure who made it or what, was entirely in chinese but when you opened it, it would set the entire computer for a proxy on localhost and the program would then choose a random proxy once in a while to use. |
