Computer status as a desktop icon

hello,

i know there are programs that run as a part of your besktop background,
which can show different things like a calendar, CPU status, up time etc
etc, does anyone know of a good one or even names of some that i can find.

Sysmetrix works well. I used to have a much better program, i'll try and look for it

Try a combination of motherboardmonitor and Samurize if you want to make your own unique config.

My vote goes to samurize too. Eaay to mod to your taste, or just download someone else's design.

Motherboardmonitor is outdated by now. No more updates are available. Chances are that your system won't be supported.

I wrote a little How-To just for you Jason.

Step 1. Figure which program you want to use.

Step 2. Click on Start and open your preferred browser.



Step 3. Open www.google.com and enter the name of the program you fancy. In this case Samurize.



Step 4. Click the search button right below the search field and wait for the results. Can you guess which result could be it ?



Step 5. Click the link !



Bravo, you've succesfully googled the programs homepage. All by your own.

All there is left to do is to download it, but how you might ask.

Step 6. Now where's the damn download link ? That one you have to figure by yourself. Have fun !

Konfabulator .. am using a calender and a weather forcast thingy and the stocks bar, updates every 5 min .. theres alot of things u can put and also you can download alot of new addons.
