Default Computer stopped accepting certain shortcuts

This happened a while ago and it's really been irritating me, i thought it was just a photoshop error, but now i found out it's worse than that. My computer just suddenly stopped accepting certain 3-key shorcuts. For instance, i use alt-ctrl-z and shift-ctrl-z quite frequently in photoshop (for back and forward), but now it won't accept alt-ctrl-z anymore. I even had them mapped in über options for my mouse and it won't accept it from there either, even now when i try to re-assign the command, it won't accept it...

Anyone have any idea how or why this might have happened? images/smilies/blink.gif

Let me reiterate: ctrl+shift+z works, ctrl+alt+y works, but ctrl+alt+z doesn't. It's not a hardware error, but software.

Ice, I found this:

Might be the 'plugin shortcut override' has been activated. don't know why this happens but it does. Open the 'extra's' menu, and click the first button three times. 'there's no place like home...' (or until it is not checked)

Also:
Re: Some Keyboard Shortcuts Don't Work
It's the Keyboard Shortcut Override Toggle, and it's on the Extras Toolbar. Just so people are referring to the proper method if they need the same solution.

Funny, I had the exact same problem not so long ago. It's fine now, but I don't know what caused it, have you tried re-installing?

EDIT: It probably is Vista. I was using PS on Vista and those keys weren't working, however when I started it up on XP, those keys worked fine.
