Well I went ahead and bought the Casio Exilim EX-Z850. Since the reviews for the 750 were so good and they only made improvements from the reviews of the 850 I couldn't pass it up. The Z850 was 339.99 on Buy.com, bought a 1gb SD card for 38 (can't remember), case for 11 bucks. Used the 25 dollar discount when you sign up for their credit card (no annual fee, i did the same thing with verizon and i never even activated the card, pretty much free money), then a $14 mail in rebate for the SD card, and another 25 dollars off with the get fun thing (just have to remember to cancel within a month). So total ended up being $338 USD. Not bad considering the camera just came out a month ago, along with an SD card and a case. I also purchased a screen protector on ebay for 10 bucks, nothing to lose there. I'll give a review once I get it!!

thanks for everyones help

I was seriously going to buy the canon sd600 but all the features on the casio won me over, also the travel charger can be purchased on ebay for around 10-15 bucks so that one set back was gone.

oh yes the battery life for the 850 is 440 shots!!!!!!! way better than the canon sd600's miniscule 160 and better than the 750's by about 70 shots. Canon will have to win me over some other time in the future, I do enjoy their cameras but the competition is just catching up.

well with the crappy 8meg on board memory i took about 3 pictures at 4MP resolution and fine quality (the highest on the camera) and it looks insanely good. I took some macro shots as i really had nothing to take pictures of
