| speaking of 2560x1600 30" displays... they are indeed badass, especially when you pair them with another 1280x1024 monitor right next to it ![]() ![]() sorry about the quality, it's from my old Treo w/ shittycam effect enabled 24/7 ![]() | |

| 18.1, but it looks like a thirteen or something next to this behemoth of a 30" display! the 18.1" Mitsubishi is real old too, I had it with my PowerMac G4 before it died. it shows its age when I crank the brightness on the 30" ACD, but I keep it about half bright so it doesn't embarrass the Mitsu too much lol | |

| Bet that cost a small fortune, especially since it's an Apple monitor. EDIT: $1800!!! That's freakin insane: http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPL...=AppleDisplays You could just about buy a 50 inch TV for that price, lol.

| but I already have a 61" LCoS TV, I don't need another :p but I didn't pay that much for it. I agree, it's expensive, but it is quite elegant, plus it has a USB and FireWire hub built-in... the cabling on it is also quite nicely done. Just a quality product. plus it's covered by AppleCare when I got it with the Mac Pro. I COMPLETELY understand why someone would get a Dell display over this, but for me, it was the right call. Certainly everyone will be different. | |

| My old craptastic desktop has two 19" CRT's. Haven't used that old thing for a while though, so I've sort of become accustomed to single monitor use again... but now I have a laptop plus a 12" wacom cintiq (totally awesomezors tablet with a screen, you can draw on it yo dawg!) so it's all good. Dual monitors are indeed awesome, although for when I'm not working OS X's spaces is a perfectly acceptable alternative to dualies, and, bonus, there's no neck strain from having to look one way and then the other then the other then the other. (I'll get pics later) I could actually setup 6 monitors, come to think of it. It would have to involve that tool that links up computers through the network to act like they're all one connected display (I don't know what it is, but my brother has it). I have no reason to do that, and I'd need to temporarily steal a surge protector from somewhere else in the house for it to even work, but I could do it. And how the hell can you possibly use a 32 inch monitor that close?!?! I looked at one at Best Buy a few days ago, and IMO it was just waaaay too big to use at any sort of a close distance. | |

| I ordered an 8400GS to run my CRTs so I can finally run all three off of my desktop.
