how the hell can you be "Not Sure" if you own something or not?

I've got one, don't use it as much as i'd like to because it's a pita to setup and leave out.

I bought myself one. Is nice. But I can't get it to work with Grid. Evertime i upshift my acceleration stops images/smilies/sad.gif
