G5, actually I have it but it's not only because of that, my bf has an MX and I prefer mine, the MX is too big for my hand to be comfortable.

Not quite. The MX518 (a great mouse) is optical while the G5 is laser, with the weight cartridge and everything else. I have both and prefer the feel of the G5 to the 518 (same ergonomics but better materials) and the ability to change the weighting of the G5 is better than you'd think. Also the G5 is just that hair more precise and you can really feel it. If you're gaming the 518 is a very good mouse but the G5 is better, but you can't go wrong with either.

Huh? The MX1000 is older than both of those.

I don't get the point of mouse fanboyism. G5 is for gamers, Revolution is for everyone else. I'd upgrade to the Revolution from my MX1000 that holds a charge for 2 days, but I'm still recovering from the diNovo purchase like a year ago. images/smilies/dry.gif

MX1100 all the way. I had the MX1000 and loved it, and have used the MX Revolution, but it felt a bit odd to me, but the 1100 is perfect. 10 Buttons, superb comfort, and since it runs on AAA's I don't have to worry about a finicky charging base.

Neither. MX1000 for me.

The G5 is corded. Need I say more?
The Revolution just doesn't feel right for some reason, and I don't like the second wheel.
