i don't know, but i don't see how this is going to revolutionize the email, for starters, the email was an electronic translation of the letter, people were used with the idea,

if wave is live people will see as you type (or as i understand it), but the problem is, how many times did it happen to you to write a full phrase before changeing your mind and deleting it, exactly ...

or they are trying to reinvent IM

That particular feature is old hat, and can be disabled, so that it works like IM.

I know this is probably gonna be prone to abuse, but could we set up a little finalgear google wave invite thread? Post your name someone will send you a PM, so as not to let our emails float around, and give out invites. Anyone?

and yeah, it does remind me of a few years ago where you couldn't use google mail. But luckily my aunt had an invitation, which sorted the problem out for me : )

I signed up here https://services.google.com/fb/forms/wavesignupfordev/ and got an invite after a few hours but they gave me no invites to send around
