On my computer it was doing the same thing and saving the most amount of time on the sites that I told it to not accelerate. That in combination with the security concerns i have heard about made it seem a bit sketchy so I have deleted it for now but I plan on reinstalling it when I begin to hear better things about it.

Not really. The proxy still has to download the page to see if it's changed. With Google's server's, they're uber fast and only have to send you a few bytes to say it hasn't changed.

- Wolfgang Bernhard, Chief Operating Officer, Chrysler Group talking about the Dodge Viper SRT-10

... I ask Herb Helbig, vehicle synthesis manager for SRT and a member of the original Team Viper development group since day one, if they'd ever thought of adding traction control. "It comes with two," he says, pointing at my feet. "Learn to use them." Got it.

well, I was at 9 hrs - and I've recently been having hell on my internet - constantly not working; sth dling at 60kbps using all my bandwidth; crash after crash. So installed ZoneAlarm to try and find out what it was. And there we have it - it was Google Web Accelerator - not sure what it was doing but it was accessing private ports on my computer and using all my bandwidth. So, as soon as I uninstall it, all my problems go away and I once again love using my computer. Thanks for that google - cunts!

Overheat, they worked out all the security risks with it? Like the people that were being logged into other people's accounts and such?
