| I want to convert a midi file to an mp3 file. Any idea how I got about doing this?

| You could set your windows volume control to record what you hear, then play the file and record it into an audio editing program like Adobe Audition or Audacity (free), then save it as an mp3. | |

| yeah, I'm sure there's some good converters out there, but hopefully you'll get one that isn't full of spyware. My solution above is pretty simple as well. I've used it before for various things, such as grabbing audio from embedded sources or protected files.

| Thanx guys. Yes, of course I used google b4 I can here, but all the ones that i found I needed to pay for....and free ones didn't work too well.
