AMD Phenom 9750 Socket AM2+ 125W 65nm Quad-Core Processor!

I just won one of these and I have no use for it. My computer is too old to handle it.

If you don't plan on upgrading your computer, I'd go auction it off at ebay.

It's quite a hot cpu on the market, you should be able to get at least $180 from it.

Let some one build a rig for you around that beast. How come all the people that don't want something like that always get it? Also how in the world did you get one for free?

Thanks. I have figured out it is a hot item and I waslucky to win it, but I am lost on these things. Maybe I will throw it up on ebay and see what happens.

Good idea, but I am pretty happy with what I have. I won it because I am on the newegg newsletter list apparently. I didn't even realize there was a contest that went with it. Newegg is just where I buy a lot of my stuff from.

Either build a machine around it or ebay it. The Phenom's a solid processor, even if it lags behind its Intel competitors.

All you have to do is be on the list. Just a heads up though. I have been on the list probably 7 years. The processor was 2nd prize, a motherboard was the first and I think third was some kind of software. They do it every month.

I haven't gotten it yet, and I haven't decided what I am going to do with it. I have never sold anything on ebay. No one I know would have a clue what to do with it except my ex brother in law and I would rather eat it than give it to him. I certainly don't need another computer, esp one I would have to build.
