The first use I think of when I see that is for some sort of medical diagnostics and measurement.

Well, if you gave Charlemagne a smallblock chevy, he wouldnt know what to do with it either.

Maybe a clever person will find a good use for it. I presume it could be made to do interesting things in video games, more likely using a differnet input medium than feet. Or you could apply it to other extremities also and have 2 independent pairs of axes.

If you coul make it convenient enough and intuitive enough, we could move to 3-dimensional graphic user interfaces perhaps, since you'd have independent pairs of axes for movement.

Just a thought. It's all about making ideas useful.

I wonder what kind of drawing would come out if the person wore them and went to dance images/smilies/think.gif

Are there hand attachments too? I'd love to see somebody do the Soulja Boy dance with these on.

I agree with epp though, this could have good uses with physical diagnosis and rehabilitation if it's further developed.

Wow, mom was right! My writing/drawing really DOES look like it was done by feet!

Ahh! I get it!

You can use your feet to operate the clutch, brakes and gas,
and the scroll wheel to operate gears... and voila! you can control the speed
of your mouse pointer!

Brilliant idea! I want 70 of those, and a USB straightjacket!
