| You could use an image maker tool, like in NERO (record to image) or winimage. with this you can build an exact copy of the CD / DVD in the ISO or NRG format. (BUT 1DVD will take up to 4,7GB of HDD space) Then you need to mount this drive to your system with the same software or something like e.g. DAEMON TOOLS and you point it to the created ISO file. 1 extra drive will appear in your system with the CD / DVD you choose, this is as simple as it gets. Sorry but these solutions are the simpliest i know ![]() | |

| That doom9 site Atmikes showed you is so easy my gran could do it. The software DVD Decrypter is very good, simple and quick. You put a DVD in the drive, load it up, select the files you want and then it rips them to a folder in your HD which you can change around and vala. | |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Use DVDshrink and when you back it up select "Hard Disk Folder" in the back up target option. To play it open the video_ts.ifo file with a DVD playing program. |

| Hedgehog Sandwich | i would suggest DVDshrink too, or pinnacle studio 10. that allows you to import DVD titles, and then you can save the whole thing as AVI or MPEG |
