i've got verizon dsl here in nj

uploads at 90kbytes/sec
down at 300/sec

none of that bullshit kilobits that ISPs use...

i pay 29.99 usd a month

unlimited useage...

I don't know what BB is, but those speeds are much like the ones I get. Except I have 20GB per month, of joint DL and UL. and it's 35€. But till last month it was 4x less, for the same money. images/smilies/wacko.gif

Upgrades like that happen all the time. My upload raised some time ago to 256kbps from 192. Still terribly low in comparison to other countries, but I can live with that. Although downloading TG episodes with bittorrent uses huge amounts of download limit. For some files you upload as much as you download which means you spent like 10% of your download usage in one day. I'm at 90% now (10 gig per month) and still a week to go.
