Default In-game video recordings

I have to do a project and i want to record some games (manly BF1942, Battle of the Buldge)...does anyone know any programs? i mean i see movies all the time of CS and stuff...

yeah, most of them are done with a program called fraps, it records all this stuff to your harddrive. Its pretty demanding for a system.

fraps works good if you have a nice computer. You can get more frames per second on your video if you turn the resolution down and don't record the sound.

oh really...belive me. there are some times when you think "oh man..i wish i had recorded that or taken some screet shots at least"
(ex: when you beat your friends in halo 50:5:12 a screen shot of the scoreboard doesn't do justice images/smilies/lol.gif)

i've never done it myself before, but a friend of mine has done it plenty, and it's always to show me how a particular game is like, and to tell me about it. also, there are people who record clips to make a music vid of the game.
