    Read about people experiencing this on a iphone forum. It's no big deal just don't leave it directly in the sun for so long in the future.

    Doesn't surprise me. I was curious about the temperature of the vinyl seat in my Mustang after it was sitting in the sun for 5 minutes the other day. It's only dark green and not black, but my digital thermometer said the vinyl was getting 170.1ºF- I can't imagine letting it sit out in the sun for a couple hours.
