yeah the psp is awesome...

for video encoding you might wanna search for "xvid4psp" or "pspvideo9", the latter being a better first time user program

as for the spiderman 2 iso, you need to select the file/files within the dvd that contain the actual movie, then select them within your chosen program and encode, i dont see much of a problem there if you CHECK the files contaiin the movie first.

and don't they give you the movie for free still? or is it a free umd holder? register your psp and you should get something or other

now, with themes, the easy answer is... you cant download more. but you can change the background by selecting the photo in the menu and then pressing triangle and then use as wallpaper.

i dont want to confuse you with things that can be done but arent for the first time user and can also be potentially good at making your psp a shiny paperweight. once you've had a good play with it, feel free to PM me or reply to enquire about some "l33t" stuff

otherwise happy gaming

If it came with 2.60 then it probably has a TA-082 motherboard, which means it can't be downgraded yet. But you can run some good hombrew (nintendo emulators, etc) with the new eLoader.
